Pale straw some green. Attractive lifted citrus, nectarine varietal Chardonnay flavours with subtle oak complexity. Palate is textured and vibrant with great persistence.
Tasting Notes:
VINTAGE CONDITIONS: The 2020 growing season was characterised by a moderate spring followed by a dry and warm summer. These conditions made for one of the earliest vintages in recent years. An excellent vintage for Margaret River Chardonnay.
VINEYARDS: The fruit for this wine was sourced from a single vineyard site from the southern area of Margaret River.
VINIFICATION: Hand-picked grapes were chilled overnight and whole bunch pressed. The juiced was fermented with wild yeast in a combination of 40% new and 60% seasoned French oak barriques where it remained on fine lees for eight months, then carefully clarified and bottled.
